HRQOL ( Health Related Quality of Life) Survey for patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE)

UIC inventor has created a questionnaire, gathered data and used it to generate a Health Related Quality of Life (HRQOL) index for patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) a debilitating autoimmune disease. Currently available generic measures for HRQOL lack important domains that are particularly important in SLE patients, such as sleep, fatigue and emotional intimacy. Though it would be more appropriate to use a SLE specific HRQOL as a health outcome measure, none is available for use in the US. The Lupus QoL is such an instrument.
