Xerion Advanced Battery Corp.
Xerion Advanced Battery Corp. is exploring a novel method of using nanotechnology to increase ion transport and energy extraction to produce a new electrode architecture called StructurePore. The StructurePore technology has the potential to charge electric car batteries in minutes and cell phone batteries in seconds. The company is exploring military, industrial, and consumer applications. Based on the research of Dr. Paul Braun of the College of Engineering, Xerion Advanced Battery Corp is located in Westminster, Colorado.
Newell Instruments
Newell Instruments, Inc. works with HVAC and refrigeration industries in a variety of ways to help them understand and improve their technology. In addition to refractometer development, Newell Instruments designs and manufactures experimental test machines and provides experimental test and simulation models.
Steady Sleep
Steady Sleep Rx company (“SSRx”) is a new clinical stage company developing drug treatments for sleep-related breathing disorders. The strategy of SRRx is to build a pipeline of products, all aimed at treating the cause of sleep apnea, an irregular central neural output patterning to the respiratory system. Traditionally this condition has been treated with medical devices that are uncomfortable and have a very low compliance rate. Sleep apnea affects 15 to 18 million people in the U.S. and is a billion dollar market in the U.S. and $1.5 billion globally.
