Did you know? The OTM here at Illinois also acts as the OTM for the University of Illinois at Springfield, and we have been working more closely with them to recognize possible innovations. Senior technology manager, Steve Wille, has been working with Jim Ermatinger, Springfield Dean of LAS, to identify Springfield faculty with the potential to bring their innovations to the market. With 240 faculty members, the Springfield campus has the means for their research to impact their respective fields, and the OTM will guide researchers through the process.

Chicoine Scholar, Stephanie Willig, has played a key part in reaching out to faculty on the Springfield campus, and Wille has presented to several groups of faculty members explaining the purpose and the role of the OTM with hopes of further collaboration.
